I received my Visual Art BA concentrating in interdisciplinary studio art from Stockton University in 2022. During my college career, 3D & digital design usually went hand in hand with my projects. I have done a lot of 3D work that required extensive digital design before it could become physical. I can create 3D objects using online software, laser cutters, and CNC routing machines. There are so many possibilities that come with design. Design is about understanding human nature. In order to successfully design practical objects, you must first understand all aspects of its use and enjoyment. For example, if you were to create a chair, not only must it be visually appealing but more importantly, comfortable. 3D design is a balance between aesthetics and practicality. Lately, I have been working with textiles and fiber. The process is similar but a lot more primitive. I’ve swapped complicated software, heavy machinery, and power tools for simple, handheld tools. The goal remains the same, creating a visual design while maintaining practicality. Check out my gallery page to see some of my work and feel free to contact me!
